Furthermore, the displays of the 10-inch color touchscreen of the navigation and multimedia system and the driver information display have been made even clearer, so you can see all the important information in a fraction of a second. The newcomer also has another trick up his sleeve. For the first time, smartphones compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto can be connected to the vehicle’s multimedia systems and recharged, both wirelessly.

Since 2019, in particular, the adaptive, glare-free Intelli-Lux LED® matrix light demonstrated how the Corsa makes innovations in the small car segment accessible to everyone. The engineers work continuously on further developments and the new Corsa benefits from this commitment. A total of 14 LED elements instead of eightindividually controllable, ensure a stadium driving experience that now “shuts out” other road users even more precisely than before.
There are also numerous other state-of-the-art assistance systems that make driving and maneuvering more relaxed. More powerful, more efficient: Corsa Electric with improved battery and new motor
Opel will become an all-electric brand in Europe by 2028, 12 models are already electrified today – and the Corsa has pioneered the democratization of battery electric drives in the Opel portfolio. It is therefore not surprising that the Corsa-e has won the “Volante d’oro” in 20203. The all-electric drive of the Corsa means: Zero-emission driving without compromises, both when carrying out daily activities and when driving for pleasure. The new Corsa Electric takes this to the next level: with more choice, more power, an improved battery and longer range.
The Corsa Electric will be available with two electric drive options: The little bestseller will be offered with 100 kW/136 hp and a further improved range of up to 357 kilometres2, as well as with 115 kW/156 hp and a range of up to 402 kilometers according to WLTP2. So the Corsa Electric is not only highly efficient – with its electric battery and the available 260 Newton meters of torque – but also guarantees pure driving pleasure in any case. And when the Corsa Electric needs to be recharged, it can be done quickly. With a quick charger, the battery reaches 80% of its total capacity in just 30 minutes (20-80%)
The newcomers to the engine range also offer responsible driving fun: For the first time, Opel will offer customers the option of switching to a hybrid with a 48-volt system. The 74 kW/100 hp and 100 kW/136 hp engines are equipped with a new dual-clutch automatic transmission. In future, they will integrate the wide range of economical drive variants, from highly efficient combustion engines to the all-electric Corsa Electric, thus consistently continuing the electrification of the brand.
