Elemental, the new Pixar film has something in common with Game of Thrones, how is it possible? Let’s find out together!
Elemental is the new Pixar movie which will be released in theaters on June 21, 2023 and is highly anticipated for its plot and its trailer that promises very well. Incredible to say, but this film has something in common with the famous TV series Game of Thrones: let’s find out what it is together.
Elemental: the language of the new Pixar film
Within the film the elements of nature intersect each other and the characters related to fire they have their own language which is precisely linked to the sounds of that element. This language was created by David J. Peterson, a scholar who invented the languages used by the Dothraki and High Valyrian in Game of Thrones based on the novels written by George RR Martin.
This language is used by the whole family of Ember which belongs to the element of fire. Amber’s parents don’t want her daughter to be friends with someone related to another element. So this new language created ad hoc for the film is essential to underline even more clearly the separation between the various groups.
Elemental is directed by the director Peter Sohn and produced by Denise Ream, while Pete Docter is the executive producer. The original film score was composed and conducted by Thomas Newman. We can’t wait to see this film in theaters, with a release that is perfect for the summer period.
In Element City, the residents of fire, water, earth and air live together. The story introduces Ember, a tough, quick-witted, fiery young woman whose friendship with a funny, saccharine, go-with-the-flow guy named Wade challenges her beliefs about the world they live in. Element City is inspired by great cities around the world, embracing the theorized contributions of each elemental community: gigantic pine-like buildings and skyscrapers cascading down to a tornado-shaped arena called Cyclone Stadium.
