We conducted an extensive series of fan tests in our reference configuration and the results were outstanding. Compared to Corsair ML140 3000 fans, we encountered one deviation of about 1/2 degree in different scenarios, always in favor of the Light Wings fans! These might seem like insignificant differences in absolute terms, but they really aren’t.
It is extremely difficult to optimize a product, in terms of performance, when it comes to a now standard design, and only 2 degrees overall can make a difference. As for the noise level, the difference is even more noticeable. Light Wings fans are pretty much inaudible during average use and they are not annoying even under high workloads. At 3000 RPM, of course, they’re audible, but not significantly.
