After years of waiting and obviously playing, finally the adaptation of Five Nights at Freddy’s is coming, let’s enjoy the trailer
There are video games that can enter your head and stay there for years. Five Nights at Freddy’s, also known by the acronym FNaF is one of them. Created by Scott Cawthon, it is a horror video game, with extremely simple dynamics, often started just to experience that thrill of fear, but which hides behind an exciting plot full of twists and turns. Now finally, 9 years after its release, a film has been made whose trailer is already available. Let’s find out.

Five Nights at Freddy’s events primarily take place at the Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, a now disused pizzeria, but very famous in the 80s. Here, the families who went to eat used to leave their children to have fun, in the company of some nice animatrons, the local mascots, who enlivened the evenings. Now that the place is abandoned, it’s up to an unsuspecting night watchman to keep an eye on the restaurant after dark. What he will discover will be unimaginable. The cast sees as the protagonist Josh Hutchersonat his side Matthew Lillard, Elizabeth Lail, Kat Conner Sterling, Jessica Weiss, Jade Kindar-Martin, Kevin Foster and the little one Grant Feely. The film is directed by Emma Tammiwho said she was thrilled to participate in this project, produced by Blumhousethe same manufacturer of M3GAN.

Good news; the release date of the film is already known. Blumhouse Productions has indeed announced, through its CEO Jason Blumthat Five Nights at Freddy’s will be available to stream and in theaters, starting in November 9, 2023. Although it will still take a while to wait, a fairly detailed trailer is already available. In the videos we discover that it will be Hutcherson who will play the night watchman, in a story that, at least visually, seems very faithful to the one that has kept us glued to the console for years, waiting for the next scare.
