Get ready to set sail even from smartphones, because the latest adventure of the intrepid Guybrush Threepwood is also coming to mobile devices. Yes, publisher Devolver Digital and developer Terrible Toybox will be releasing Return to Monkey Island per mobilewith an expected release date of July 27, 2023 on iOS and Android.
The game arrived on consoles and PC in 2022, generating great hype among fans of the iconic franchise. The new title has in fact seen the return of Ron Gilbertauthor of the first trilogy.
Return to Monkey Island was released for Nintendo Switch and PC (via Steam) on September 19, 2022. After which, about two months later, it also arrived on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S, included in the Xbox Game Pass catalog.
The mobile version will of course be available on the App Store (for iOS) and Google Play Store (for Android)

At the moment we don’t know how and if the mobile port will change the gameplay, but considering the game mechanics we have loved on PC and consoles, there will hardly be any major changes.
