Sister Irene and Valak are ready to clash again in the trailer for The Nun 2, in cinemas from 8 September, in which Taissa Farmiga and Bonnie Aarons stand out
When there are about two months left from the theatrical release, The Nun 2 is ready to show itself in the first, terrifying trailer, also available in Italian. Sequel to the spin-off of “The Conjuring Universe”, the horror will mark the final showdown between Sister Irene (Taissa Farmiga) and Valak, the “demon nun” (Bonnie Aarons). With no further sequels currently on the horizon, The Nun 2 is perhaps preparing to conclude the events of the first chapter. The trailer shows the pupils of a school who suddenly find themselves dealing with a dark presence, which is trying to regain its lost power. To face the demon will therefore, once again, be Sister Irene, as can be seen from official synopsiswhich also recalls the extraordinary success achieved by the first episode.

1956 – France. A priest is murdered. An evil is spreading. The sequel to the blockbuster film follows Sister Irene as she once again comes face to face with Valak, the demonic nun.
From what we can learn Maurice he moved to France and works as a handyman in a boarding school. He has a little fling with one of the teachers and is starting to mature. But we know from the first film that there is something terrible inside him, that Valak took possession of him looking for an escape route. These events will then lead Irene on a collision course with her old friend. To support Sister Irene in the fight against evil we find Storm Reid – star of the series Euphoria and The Last Of Us – in the role of a novice who is trying to figure out whether to take the vows or to withdraw from the religious life. As mentioned, Taissa Farmiga, sister of the most famous Vera star of the main saga of “The Conjuring Universe”, returns to take on the role of Sister Irene, while Bonnie Aarons e Jonas Bloquet they once again lend body and voice to Valak and Maurice. Then completes the cast Anna Popplewell. Produced by Safran Company by Peter Safran and from Atomic Monster by James Wan, The Nun 2 will be in theaters fromSeptember 8th.
