The highly anticipated Wonka, the film that traces the youth of the eccentric chocolatier Willy Wonka, is also arriving in Italian cinemas: here is the first trailer
The well-known literary character of Roald Dahl is about to make its cinema debut and, for the occasion, the first trailer for the film Wonka has been released. To show who this boy with bowler hat and cane was before opening his much dreamed and desired chocolate factory, the production has hired Timothée Chalamet. However, as in any self-respecting fairy tale, there is a nemesis to hinder the ambitious projects of the young protagonist. In fact, Willy will have to deal with the chocolate cartel that prevents the opening of a new shop in the Gourmet Gallery, clinging to a cumbersome and old-fashioned bureaucracy. There are many reasons why it is worth waiting for the screening of this film, whose release date is scheduled for December 14th. The trailer reveals some of them.

Surely it will be interesting to compare “Wonka” with the previous films, the musical “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory” (1971) starring Gene Wilder and “The Chocolate Factory” by Tim Burton with Johnny Depp in the role of the protagonist. The stellar cast is certainly captivating, starting with the young Timothèe Chalamet, who defeated the competition of Ezra Miller e Ryan Gosling. His interpretation promises to offer the audience a new and interesting perspective on this little masterpiece. To accompany him in this splendid cinematic adventure there will also be Olivia Colman, Jim Carter, Calah Lane, Keegan Michael Key, Paterson Joseph, Matt Lucas, Mathew Baynton e Sally Hawkins.
Finally, the direction of the Englishman Paul King stands out, famous for having already signed popular films, such as “Paddington” and “Paddington 2” and the production that boasts successes such as Harry Potter. To make the wait for the screening even more tempting is the release of its first official trailer, the images of which leave you speechless with wonder.
