Review Nilox CW30 Mouse and Keyboard Kit: an average keyboard
We are certainly not dealing with a high-end, mechanical or gaming keyboard. Both aesthetic and technical side we are faced with a product of an economic range. However, it is worth spending some time analyzing its features. The keyboard of the Nilox CW30 kit is built entirely in plastic, very light (weighs only 400 grams), but solid enough even if it tends to flex a bit in the center if you apply a high enough pressure. The dimensions are equal to 450 x 141 x 26.5 mm and there are two rubber feet to give greater stability and two liftable feet for tilt the keyboard about 15° to improve ergonomics. It is a splash resistant product, so we can safely consume liquids as long as we use it.
The keys have a stroke of about 20 mm and enough force must be applied to move them. A disadvantage is that going very fast you risk losing pieces and using the little finger is a bit tiring. In short, not the best for typing. The numeric keypad is present, but the multimedia keys are not. However, the lack that most bored us is that of the LED for the Caps Lock. It’s not essential, but you’re used to having it and they take it off you realize it – it’s still possible to fix it with screen writing, there are various tools.
For general use, however, we can say that it works quite well. A keyboard that does his job, without infamy and without praise.
Nilox CW30 Mouse and Keyboard Kit Review: a tiny mouse
The mouse supplied with this kit is really small, circa 100 x 66 x 37 mm, but on the other hand it is very light, weighing only 150 grams. It is also made entirely of plastic which seems harder and more resistant than that of the keyboard. Sensitivity can be adjusted between 800, 1200 and 1600 DPI to adapt to different needs. It must be said that, despite their size, the two keys have good sound and tactile feedback. Same thing for the wheel that takes very well-defined and precise shots and can be pressed.
Personally, having big hands, use such a small mouse can be unergonomic for long periods of time. I think it’s worth a bit for everyone anyway because the dimensions are very small.
Conclusions
