The official reveal of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is fast approaching, considering that Activision Blizzard has set it for some time for the next August 17th. We already know the release date: on November 10, 2023 the reboot of the 2011 title will arrive on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, with a beta likely set for October. In short, we already know practically everything we need to know, but there was a “detail” that had not yet been officially clarified: the price.
While waiting for the reveal, let’s talk about the price of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3!
And just recently, Activision confirmed that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will cost exactly as much as a premium game: $70 (probably so converted into euros). A piece of news that may not surprise most, considering that of Call of Duty is one of the many triple A series that canonically adopts this type of price. This, therefore, regardless of the fact that little has changed compared to last year and that also all the skins and purchases made in Modern Warfare 2 will pass by right in this chapter.
Modern Warfare 3 will therefore be a real chapter in its own right in the series and not a simple Modern Warfare 2 DLC pumped enough to survive on its own. Or at least that’s what we expect and hope now, considering the full price at which it will be sold. Only time will give us an answer, meanwhile we wait to have news the day after tomorrow!
