Since its debut, Summer in Your Eyes has been one of the flagship titles of Prime Video’s teen drama sector, which releases new seasons every year. While the events of the protagonists Belly, Conrad e Jeremiah intertwine with the daily challenges, tragedies and emotions of first loves, we are already thinking about the next chapter. Which, according to the first advances, should follow the timeline dashed by the author of the literary saga Jenny Han and conclude the story arc two years after the events of the second season. All in ten episodes that will be released, in fact, in 2024.

Without breaking too much on the basis of the original literary material, it suffices to know that the third book of the series takes up the ranks two years after the events of the second volume, with Belly still torn between love for Conrad and affection for Jeremiah. Busy with college, the girl will start a relationship with her ex’s brother, without being able to forget the first boy she ever loved.
Han, who is also writing further books in the series, however, has already changed several things with respect to his own works, adding, in the second season, also a love scene between Belly and Conrad that he had never written. So it is said that the author slavishly follows the plot of the novels. The fans of the saga are still very fond of the Summer Trilogy by Jenny Han, so sea changes are unlikely. While waiting for the plot of the third season to be confirmed, all that remains is to enjoy the adventures of Belly, Conrad and Jeremiah in the romantic Cousins Beach.

In the cast of the third season of Summer in your eyes we will not find many shakes, so they should return Lola Tung, Christopher Briney, Gavin Casalegno, Jackie Chung, Rachel Blanchard, Sean Kaufman, Alfredo Narciso, Colin Ferguson and Tom Everett Scott. Trailer and release date
Production on the third season was given the official green light ahead of the strikes WGA e SAG-AFTRA, respectively the unions of American screenwriters and actors who are currently waiting to find an agreement with AMPTP, the association that includes production companies, networks and streaming platforms, for the renewal of general contracts. Production on Season 3 will therefore not begin until this is all sorted out. This means that it may take longer than expected to see the next episodes, but for now the new season of the series should arrive for l’estate 2024. We look forward to learning more.
