Shortly before the official launch of the new MINI family at IAA MOBILITY 2023, MINI presents an exclusive preview at the central control unit – the MINI Interaction Unit. The round OLED display was developed together with Samsung Display Corporation and is an industry first. For the gamescom set-up, MINI has chosen one of the most iconic environments in pop culture as a reference: the laboratorio high-tech. At the heart of the MINI Lab, a gigantic incubation tank reminiscent of the great classics of science fiction, video games and anime.

MINI stands for individuality. The MINI Interaction Unit displays different designs and contents depending on the selected Experience Mode. The new Personal Mode, in particular, reinforces the consistent expression of individuality. In this mode, an image from your smartphone gallery can be set as wallpaper for the center display via the MINI app, thus personalizing the entire interior environment. Visitors to gamescom can discover the various modes at the fair booth.
