During the iPhone 15 presentation event, Apple announced two new storage plans iCloudyes 6 TB e 12 TBboth available from September 18th. This move is a clear sign of growing demand for storage space from users.
iCloud, Apple announces 6 and 12 TB plans
Until yesterday, the individual iCloud account offered a maximum storage capacity of 2 TB, at the cost of 9.99 euros per month In the USA. But on December 18th things will change. In the United States, the plan from 6 TB will cost 29.99 euros per month, while the plan gives 12 TB will rise to 59.99 euros per month. These plans can be shared with a maximum of six people via Family Sharing, making the cost less burdensome for groups of users.
These new storage tiers not only offer additional space, but also include all the other features of iCloud+, includingi iCloud Private Relay e HomeKit Secure Video. This means that users can not only store a large amount of data, but also enjoy greater security and privacy for their personal files and information.
One question that remains unanswered is whether these new storage plans can be combined with a subscription Apple One Premier. If it were possible, users could enjoy a total of 14 terabytes of storage.
Starting September 18, users can subscribe to these larger iCloud plans, ensuring they never have to worry about running out of storage again.
