During the recently concluded Nintendo Direct of September 2023 there was not only space for Mario, Kong and Peach (even if that franchise actually took most of the stage). One of the great unforeseen returns, but widely appreciated by a large portion of the public who loved the original titles on Nintendo DS and Wii, is that of Another Code. The first chapter dates back to 2005 and was developed by Cing and is about to return, in a Remake version, on Nintendo Switch. And we even have the release date!
Another Code Recollection arrives on Nintendo Switch: here is the release date!
The remake will include both the first chapter of Another Code and its sequel, Another Code; R – A Journey into Lost Memories, which arrived on Nintendo Wii in 2009. The collection will be called Another Code Recollection and will arrive, exclusively for Nintendo Switch, on January 19, 2024.
An additional tidbit: this will actually be the first time the sequel, A Journey into Lost Memories, will be playable in North America. This Remake will have everything a remake requires: renewed graphics, more modern animations and new dubbing. There is so much curiosity for now and we can’t wait to find out more!
