INEOS Automotive has started production of the first Grenadier 4X4 vehicles for the North American market at its plant in Hambach, France
This marks a significant moment for the company, as the US becomes its largest market with over 7,000 orders already placed. The first deliveries to customers in the United States are expected in Novemberwhile in Canada they will begin in January 2024. INEOS Automotive acquired the Hambach production plant from Mercedes-Benz in 2021 and has invested over 50 million euros to upgrade the facility. The Grenadier production line has been improved with new automated departmentsincluding painting and quality control.

Lynn Calder, CEO of INEOS Automotive, highlighted the importance of this step, saying that the company has accelerated production to meet growing demand while maintaining high quality standards. You also highlighted that the Grenadier is designed to be a global vehicle, with production targeting five continents. INEOS Automotive is headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina and will soon announce its first select dealership group in the United States. The company is expanding its sales and service network, with operations in more than 40 markets and deliveries underway in 20 of them.
The Grenadier features a robust chassis, rigid axles, a BMW inline six-cylinder engine and a host of practical and versatile features. The interior offers exceptional comfort and cutting-edge technologies, while an open source approach to accessories allows owners to customize the vehicle to their needs.
