The legend of Sleepy Hollow is such a rich story, and when I started researching the Hudson Valley and true ghost stories, I became totally addicted to this part of the narrative. There are so many things that are not explored in the films that many fans don’t know because they haven’t read the book or don’t remember it because they read the book too long ago. Even with Bloodlines it happened to me, thinking about Pet Sematary. What are the questions left unanswered in the book? And what are the parts of the book that weren’t explored in the films?
Compared to the previous 1999 film adaptation directed by Tim Burton, which featured the actor Johnny Depp (as Ichabod Crane) e Christopher Walken (as the Headless Horseman);; the reboot promises to be much scarier and faithful to his origins.
