Interpreted by Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Rockwell, Henry Cavill, John Cena and many others, will soon arrive at the cinema with Universal Pictures Argylle – The Superspy, which is the new film by the director of Kick-Ass and the Kingsman series, the English Matthew Vaughn. This is the official plot of Argylle – The Super Spy:
Bryce Dallas Howard (Jurassic World) is Elly Conway, a reclusive author of a series of best-selling spy novels, whose idea of happiness is an evening at home on the computer with her cat Alfie. But when the plots of Elly’s books, centered on secret agent Argylle and his mission to expose a global criminal organization, begin to mirror the covert actions of a real-life spy organization, quiet evenings at home become a distant memory . Accompanied by Aiden (Oscar winner Sam Rockwell), a spy allergic to cats, Elly (who carries Alfie in her backpack) runs around the world trying to stay one step ahead of assassins, while the line between Elly’s imaginary world and the real one starts to fade.

From the brilliant mind of Matthew Vaughn Argylle is therefore born, a sharp spy thriller, which distorts reality and takes you around the world together with an exceptional cast. In addition to the aforementioned Bryce Dallas Howard and Sam Rockwell, in fact, in the cast of the film there are well-known names such as those of Henry Cavill, John CenaOscar winner Ariana DeBose, the pop superstar Dua Lipa (already seen in Barbie), the Emmy winner and Oscar nominee Bryan Cranstonthe Emmy winner and comedy icon Catherine O’Hara, Sofia Boutella and also the legendary Samuel L. Jackson. Alfie is played by Chip, who in real life is the cat of the very famous supermodel Claudia Schiffer, Vaughn’s wife. Argylle is directed and produced by Matthew Vaughn, from a screenplay by Jason Fuchs and the release date is still unknown, which however should be in 2024.
