In this apocalyptic thriller from award-winning writer-director Sam Esmail (Mr. Robot), Amanda (Julia Roberts) and husband Clay (Ethan Hawke) rent a luxury home for a weekend with their children Archie (Charlie Evans) and Rose ( Farrah Mackenzie). The holiday is immediately disrupted by the arrival at night of two strangers: GH (Mahershala Ali) and his daughter Ruth (Myha’la), who inform them of a mysterious cyberattack and want to take refuge in the house they say they own. The two families take stock of the looming disaster that becomes increasingly terrifying, forcing them to come to terms with their role in a world close to collapse.
