Samsung’s FE (Fan Edition) product family is expanding further: the flagship product, presented during today’s event, is obviously the new Samsung S23 FE smartphone (all the details here), but it was definitely not the unique novelty. In fact, the new earphones, the Galaxy Buds FE, were also revealed. It’s about the the cheapest Samsung wireless earphone model on the market, which offers most of the features much loved by fans of the brand, at a significantly lower price. Among the most important features we find active noise cancellation (ANC), a rather compact shape and a decidedly important battery life. How much do they cost and when will they be available? Samsung Galaxy Buds FE between release price and specifications
The Galaxy Buds FE will cost, in the Italian market, 109€. They will be available in black and white, although the charging case will only be available in white (unfortunately). The earphones will arrive in the Italian market starting October 10, 2023 and they will arrive in a package that will provide, in addition to obviously the headphones and the charging case, also a USB Type-C charging cable, three pairs of ear tips and a pair of ear fins in the package.
The Galaxy Buds FE feature a single-driver audio setup, along with three microphones on each side, support Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, as well as AAC, SBC, and SSC codecs. They can automatically switch between Galaxy phones, tablets, and laptops, depending on which device you’re using at the time. As already mentioned, they have active noise cancellation (ANC) and a customizable Ambient Mode. As for battery life, according to what Samsung revealed they can last up to 8.5 hours on a single charge and up to 30 hours with the charging case when active noise cancellation is deactivated. When you decide to activate it, the Galaxy Buds FE last up to 6 hours on a single charge and up to 21 hours with the charging case. The case can only be charged via the USB Type-C port and does not support wireless charging.
