The scale of the gold-plated bezel was achieved thanks to the PVD coating technology (Physical Vapor Deposition) which, through a three-lap laser engraving at a 5 micron level, allowed the exterior to be decorated with a satin texture effect. Following the addition of gold through the vacuum ion plating technique, an intaglio printing pattern is finally applied to create a gold dust effect.
