From 26 October to 5 November 2023, Tokyo Big Sight will be the stage for one of the most anticipated events in the world of automobiles and mobility: the Japan Mobility Show 2023, organized by Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA) – and Suzuki will be the protagonist. With a series of initiatives for a zero-carbon future in mobility. From cars to motorbikes, also passing through to air transport services.
Suzuki and the zero-emission future at the 2023 Japan Mobility Show
Suzuki’s stand at the Japan Mobility Show 2023 will be the center of attention, offering a overview of the company’s initiatives for a sustainable future. One of the highlights of the exhibition will be the presentation of zero carbon emission vehiclesin line with the growing importance of ecological solutions in mobility.
Electric cars
Among the most important announcements, without a doubt, there are electric cars.
- eVX: Suzuki will unveil its ambitious eVX project, the company’s first global strategic electric vehicle. With an advanced design and a range of 500 km in fully electric mode, eVX promises to offer an authentic driving experience.
- eWX: This electric mini wagon, designed for people’s daily lives, offers a youthful design and clean lines, with a range of 230 km in fully electric mode.
- e EVERY CONCEPT: A small electric commercial mini-van developed in collaboration with Daihatsu and Toyota. Not only does it offer quiet and powerful EV driving but it can also provide electricity in an emergency, maintaining the versatility of a mini-commercial van.
- SPACIA Concept / SPACIA Custom Concept: The SPACIA minicar offers a unique design and a spacious interior to make daily life more comfortable and fun. The Spacia Custom Concept seeks elegance and luxury in super-city dimensions.
- SWIFT CONCEPT: An evolution of Swift values, which focuses not only on iconic design and driving pleasure, but also on advanced safety and energy efficiency.
Electric mobility
Among the news, it arrives Suzuki Senior Car: a motorized wheelchair with motorcycle handlebars for daily travel, including shopping and walking. Equipped with sensors and features to ensure safety while driving.
But this is not the only news arriving regarding electric mobility from Suzuki at the Japan Mobility Show 2023 in Tokyo:
- MOQBA: Next-generation mobility that uses robotic wheels and legs to overcome obstacles such as stairs. It is a new mobility tool that offers solutions in places inaccessible to traditional cars.
- SUZU-RIDE / SUZU-CARGO: Single-seater and multi-purpose vehicles that offer practicality and safety in daily driving and work activities.
- SUZUKI GO!: A new electric mobility aimed at an elderly audience that offers comfort and safety while driving.
- LM-A: A last mile delivery robot developed in collaboration with LOMBY Inc., with the aim of addressing social issues in the logistics industry.
Suzuki motorcycles and motorcycles at the Japan Mobility Show 2023 in Tokyo
Among motorbikes and electric scooters:
- e-PO: An electric-powered folding bike that offers a powerful alternative to traditional ebikes.

Suzuki also presents a e-outboard concept: an eco-friendly, lightweight and easy to transport electric outboard motor, with additional functions such as the ability to use the battery as a portable power bank.

- CBG (Compressed Biomethane Gas) Business in India (WagonR CBG): Suzuki is involved in the CBG project to develop compressed biomethane in India, contributing to the revitalization of rural society and the provision of sustainable mobility.
- Demonstration of hydrogen fuel cell cargo trailer at Kosai plant: Suzuki is using hydrogen to reduce carbon emissions in its factories, with a hydrogen-powered trailer that uses solar power.
- Flying cars in collaboration with ©SkyDrive Inc.: Suzuki is collaborating with ©SkyDrive Inc. on the production of “flying cars” with the aim of starting production in spring 2024.
