Excellent news from the world of TV series, it would seem that Anonymous Content, the same producers of Mr. Robot and True Detective, are willing to work on a brand new project which, we are sure, will make fans of the beloved video game jump for joy. The idea is in fact to realize a live action dedicated to Cyberpunk 2077. Here’s what we know.
The new project | Cyberpunk 2077: a live-action series is coming
The announcement came a few hours ago from CD PROJEKT REDwhich has signed an agreement with Anonymous Contentto develop a brand new live action, probably of a serial nature, set in the narrative universe of the beloved video game Cyberpunk 2077.
For now we don’t have many details about it, but we can tell you that the project will be in the hands of Garret Kemble, head of television at Anonymous Content Studios. At his side we will find David LevineChief Creative Officer, famous for highly successful shows such as the first seasons of Game of Thrones, True Detective and True Blood, as well as the Oscar-winning film The Revenant.
The first statements
CD PROJEKT RED has made some statements regarding this new show. A note reads:
The new project is in the early stages of development and we are looking for a screenwriter to tell a story, probably entirely newset in the world of Cyberpunk 2077. The project will be developed in close collaboration with the Cyberpunk 2077 creative team.
We remember that Cyberpunk 2077 is a very successful video game, which thanks to the love of the fans was then revived for several other projects, including an anime series, published on the platform Netflix. For now this is all we know.
