The good news is that the company has decided to introduce other forms of subscriptions, designed for those who want to spend less and who are not affected in the slightest by advertising. New Disney Plus subscriptions starting in November: increases yes, but…
Let’s start by saying that the new Disney Plus subscription plans will only be available in some countries: Great Britain, France, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Norway, Sweden, Denmark and, obviously, Italy. The most interesting news is definitely the launch of a subscription that includes integrated advertising and which, therefore, will obviously cost diametrically less. From November 1st, in fact, you will be able to subscribe to the new Standard plan with Ads, which will be added to the Standard and Premium subscriptions.
The complete list of features and prices can be found in the image below. The prices, shown in Pounds in the image, obviously vary with the conversion into Euros. The subscription Standard with advertising it will only be possible monthly and will cost 5.99€. The subscription Standardhowever, will have a monthly cost of 8.99€ and annual of 89.90€. The subscription Premiumhowever, will have a monthly cost of 11.99€ and annual of 119.90€.
Until October 31st prices will remain the same, and currently all Disney Plus subscribers receive the equivalent of the future Premium subscription. Conceptually, therefore, it is true that prices will increase, because to maintain the same quality as now, you will have to pay more. It is also true, however, that there is never a shortage of Disney Plus themed offers and that there is also no shortage of opportunities to pay less, with the other two subscription plans, equally valid. It will be up to you to decide how to continue with the service!
