In the wake of the other chapters of the franchise, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth will continue to be a container, not only for an exciting story full of action and twists, but also for a myriad of minigames completely irrelevant to the screenplay and equally fun and wonderful. In this new trailer, coming from the Xbox Partner Showcase, the developers of Ryu Ga Gotoku have focused on the possibility of managing and building DonDoko Island (which you can reach by riding a dolphin…), in a sort of management system full of objects, decorations, interaction with people and animals and much more. Still Wakes the Deep (it took us a while to understand how to read the title, to understand the problem you just need to look at the logo) is a new horror-style walking simulator from the developers of Dear Esther, the guys from The Chinese Room. The game will take us to a mysterious oil platform off the coast of Scotland back in 1975. On the stage of the Xbox Partner Preview we were also able to see a nice part of gameplay, which greatly underlines the anxious and distressing atmosphere depicted by The Chinese Room. We’ll see!

Let’s continue quickly with the new trailer dedicated to Robocop Rogue City, arriving next November 2nd. In the new video material we were able to see some glimpses of the story and the characters involved, as well as some new hints at the gameplay and the various weapons that our RoboCop will be able to use. Ah yes, we also discovered that the protagonist is called Luisa.

A sequel to the 2019 original, Spirit of the North 2 will feature the iconic vault and a raven as they embark on an adventure to bring the lost guardians back to life and finally return home. A journey that will lead them to clash with the dark shaman Grimnir, against whom they will have to ally in order to survive. No release date, for now, unfortunately.

Surprise of surprises, Konami chose the stage of the Xbox Partner Preview to show the world, for the first time, an excerpt of gameplay from Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake: Snake Eater (or Delta, call it what you want). And yes, it looks very, very well made. Too bad it’s a little too short than we would have liked, but it was enough to make us jump out of our seats. Watch it, you won’t regret it.

Manor Lords is a city-builder arriving on April 26, 2024 which, according to what was announced on the Xbox Partner Preview stage, will arrive on day one on PC Game Pass in Game Preview. It will later also land on Xbox consoles. In the new trailer, shown on the stage of the Microsoft event, we were able to see the game in action, which will allow us to build the medieval city of our dreams, so beautiful and imposing that we can finally call it home.

The Finals is a free-to-play competitive team-based shooter that is coming, in Open Beta version, starting tomorrow 26 October. Almost at the end of the Xbox Partner Preview comes one of the most important announcements: a first look at Ark Survival Ascended. Remake in Unreal Engine 5 di Ark: Survival Evolved, this new trailer managed to forcefully throw us back into that atmosphere full of dinosaurs, prehistoric creatures of various kinds and fantastic monsters. The title seems much more than a simple remake of the first chapter, it seems like a real new iteration. The developers have already confirmed support for modding and cross-platform play and much more. Let’s hope so!

Finally, the Xbox Partner Preview ended with one of the most popular trailers: that of Alan Wake 2. First with the launch trailer, already released today, followed by a long gameplay walkthrough starring Saga Anderson. The young agent encounters terrifying-looking enemies in an atmosphere that departs a bit from how we remembered the original Alan Wake and gets closer, perhaps a little too much, to one of the new survival horror games.
