Job offers are pouring in from the house of “YOU DIED”: many new projects seem to be in the pipeline, in that of FromSoftware
In the last two years, FromSoftware he had his hands in the pot for several projects (nothing new for Hidetaka Miyazaki’s team), but several new projects they may see the light soon. After the success of Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon and the unanimous vote for Elden Ring, the Japanese branch of IGN intends to set up webinars (virtual seminars, ed.) to recruit staff en masse on several games that have not yet been announced. The roles involved are “central”, for what the development team promises to be the “next chapter”. In other words, therefore, building a “development staff” already promises to be a long-term commitment. With all the exciting announcements that will come from it!

New projects for FromSoftware, what awaits the future of the Dark Souls fathers?
At the moment, the only project we know is in the works is a large-scale expansion of Elden Ring, called Shadow of the Erdtree. Since the latter does not even have a precise release date yet (but rather “after the end of the current fiscal year”, i.e. from next April onwards), the waits are expected to be long. Recently, the speculative scene has ridden the crest of the wave of leaks, according to which Sony is working on a PS5 exclusive more similar to Dark Souls than what was seen and appreciated in Sekiro and Elden Ring. We’ll have something to talk about in a few months, that’s for sure!
