Even with one foot in the sunset, Nintendo Switch will enjoy the right support: the life cycle is an outdated concept
Since Grand Theft Auto VI does not have exclusivity on speculation, another chattered concept is the future of the Big N after the success of Nintendo Switchwhose support will be stable “without the constraints of the traditional concept” of a life cycle now at an end. This news was given to us (excellent for hybrid fans, a little less so for fans of the Kyoto Colossus tired of the “power gap”) is one of the honorary journalists of the sector press, the same Wario64 who just yesterday shared the news of the divorce between PlayStation and Twitter. We would happily joke about how much the portable console-and-doesn’t yet make use of social media, but the post below gives us much more to talk about (good, but it’s implied).
Future outlook for Nintendo Switch:
-entering its eight year in March 2024
-Nintendo will continue to release new titles and content “without being bound by the traditional concept of the platform lifecycle.”
-Going forward, like to continue to see many consumers play Switch,… pic.twitter.com/6D7WWBLzQV— Wario64 (@Wario64) November 8, 2023
Nintendo Switch, special console, receives support beyond its life cycle
The tweet above reports what emerged from the latest quarterly report of the Grande N. The over one hundred year old company has opted for the no-comment on future consoles, preferring to confirm the release of new titles (verbatim) “without being bound by the traditional idea of a platform’s life cycle.” The other two considerations of the Kyoto Colossus allude to March 2024 as the “eighth year of life” and to the hope of continuing the success of the console. With i 123.46 million units placed on the market, that of the Switch is the greatest success ever seen: the only internal company record left to overcome is the 154.02 million Nintendo DS sold. From this perspective, the idea of new titles like Super Mario Bros. Wonder is decidedly less surprising.
