Microsoft recently declared its intention to reduce bloatware (useless apps) in Windows 11allowing users to remove multiple apps, including Microsoft Photos. Additionally, the company announced thedeleting the “Tips” app from Windows 11 in a future release, planned for next year.

L’app “Suggestions“, previously used to show new features and offer recommendations about Windows, it will no longer be an integral part of the operating system. This is part of a larger plan by Microsoft to eliminate some stock Windows 11 apps, including Movies & TV, Maps, WordPad and Cortana.
As Windows Latest explains, the recent Build 23585 nel Dev Channell introduced a significant change, allowing users to uninstall more apps like Camera, Cortana, People and Photos with just a few clicks, making the process easier than using Powershell.
The logic of make these stock Windows 11 apps optional seems to aim for greater flexibility and choice for users. This should make Windows faster and more efficient, but also go in the direction of greater user autonomy required of tech giants by politics, especially in Europe.
In addition to these new features, the Build includes performance improvements File Explorer and the addition of the creation of 7-zip and TAR archives. But also several more technical innovations for developers, which make the functioning of the operating system more fluid.
