Among other details, we have Ayako Moriwaki (Pikmin 4, Yoshi’s Crafted World, Mario & Luigi: Dream Team Bros.) di Nintendo EPD in the direction.

Again according to what emerged, together with Moriwaki the rest of the Nintendo EPD staff also worked on the artistic direction, graphics and interfaces of the remake. As for the animations, they are the work of the newly formed animation house Nintendo Pictures. Lo staff original participated in this reunion, with Taro Kudo (event designer), Yoshihiko Maekawa (co-director) e Yoko Shimomura (soundtrack) on board for the project. The rest of Square-Enix was mostly dedicated to supervision of this rebirth. The other director of the original title, Chihiro Fujioka, did not participate but said he “can’t wait” to play the version for Nintendo Switch. Which, and we say this with no small amount of salivation, comes out this Friday, November 17.
