In fact, in recent days according to leaker Daniel Richtman, Marvel’s Wolverine release date has been set for 2025. Although journalist Jeff Grubb previously stated that the software house, together with PlayStation, were aiming for a launch window for autumn 2024, but it already seemed that the video game would be slightly postponed. In fact, the lack of trailers (other than the small teaser shown two years ago) and official news leads one to believe that the release date will be no earlier than 2025.

Furthermore, according to the same leaker the game will have a much darker and more violent tone compared to previous titles developed by the software house – news that was already confirmed by game director Brian Horton shortly after the official announcement in 2021. The game will be set in Madripoor, a fictional city in Southeast Asia described in the Marvel Universe as a paradise for pirates and criminals. We just have to wait for further official news.
