Starting next Tuesday, the January 9th, the limited-time thematic mode will introduce… unusual weapons to the game. We therefore start from obvious things such as the legendary Potens Sword and arrive at unorthodox uses of Materia during the fights. For what Apex Legends calls “three weeks of infinite possibilities,” the event Final Fantasy VII Takeover inspired by Rebirth will replace the normal unranked battle royale. Using the Potens Sword to block projectiles, unleash the Limit Break, absorb life points and unleash lightning: during the event we will actually see everything. Naturally there will be no shortage of skins dedicated to the worlds of Square-Enixfor a total of 36 limited time cosmetics to be purchased with in-game currency (for what it’s worth making a distinction, of course). It will be a very intense three weeks, in which to reconsider the entire gameplay loop thanks to this very limited time video game affair.
