Rosario Dawson, protagonist of the Ahsoka series, makes some rather disappointing statements about a potential season 2
The protagonist of the Ahsoka series, Rosario Dawson, set in the Star Wars universe, reveals that not being aware of an official plan regarding a potential season 2. In fact, when she was asked for news about the future of the series, the actress replied that she didn’t know anything about it yet. However, she added that the show’s cast will soon have their own reunion at a dinner:
There have been and are no discussions about a second season of Ahsoka. We should be having dinner with the whole cast soon, which will be really nice because I haven’t seen everyone in a while. I was very jealous of my colleagues who attended the show’s conventions since I couldn’t take part.
No news on Ahsoka season 2, but revelations about scene changes in season 1
The actress then made some Interesting revelations about the first season. In fact, it seems that Anakin Skywalker was initially supposed to appear as the Force Ghost, to be able to have a new conversation with his former Jedi padawan, but in the end it was decided to change the scene to make the final moment more impactful. The moment Anakin emerged from the World of Worlds had been so full of meaning, so it wouldn’t have made much sense to add another dialogue scene with him. Which is why it was decided to transform the scene. The choice was to have Ahsoka see him as a hologram. A simpler, more linear scene instead of adding a new conversation with the Force Ghosts.
