Insomniac is one of the busiest studios in the entire industry. Since 2019 he has published 4 titles. From Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart to Spider-Man: Miles Morales, through Strangelets as well as a VR title called Stormland. After these, the Insomniac team wants to diversify the offer by developing a multiplayer title from scratch that will be exclusive to PS5. The news comes from a tweet from the company, which offers five jobs for an exciting multiplayer project. Specifically, the following professional figures are required: a creative director, a systems designer (multiplayer), a story lead, an art director and a VFX artist.
The following list may seem unspecific, after all, any project is followed by these professionals. However, as regards the role for multiplayer, it is specified that the collaborator will have to deal with various aspects of the features of a multiplayer, mechanics, system design and more. At this point it remains to be asked whether the studio is capable of dealing with such a project. Because Insomniac’s last experience with a multi dates back to Fuse, a 2013 game.
