In just over a month the new MG 3 car will be revealed to us, due out in 2024, which will be the smallest model ever created by the company and what’s more, it will not be electric and will cost approximately around 17,000 euros, let’s see together what expect from this new car
The world of cars is ready to welcome the new car in the range MG (Morris Garages, an English company closed and sold, click here for more info). The company had previously announced the MG Cyberster, the new sports roadster. But he decided to expand the catalog even further with the new one MG 3which they said they will unveil at Geneva Motor Show il February 26. For the car manufacturer this is a return, given that the last car sold under this brand dates back between 2008 and 2011. The MG 3 will be the more compact and accessible proposed by the company and will become a competitor to Renault Clio, Opel Corsa and Peugeot 2008.
First look at the MG 3 coming out this spring
What will be the smallest of the MGs could have one length of approximately 4 metres and propose the main stylistic elements typical of the Anglo-Chinese house, such as the large grille with three-dimensional elements and a sloping muzzle similar to what the MG 4 has. We can see it well in the first look at the new car in the image. In another teaser we can also see the rear with a design inspired by the MG 5while the rims have an aggressive and wild style and could measure up to 17 inches. Now we just have to understand what the on-board technology will be, which in order to have a competitive price, will probably have an equipment more concrete rather than refined, but still capable of being integrated into the richest setups.
Unlike its competitors, the MG it shouldn’t have a 100% electric version, at least not during the first months of life. The most accessible electric model will therefore remain the MG 4. As for the MG 3, however, we are waiting for one petrol engine, perhaps even hybrid. As for the price, the MG 3 should cost around 17-18.000 euro.
