Fujifilm and the World Press Photo Foundation join together in a new partnership to promote photographic culture, let’s discover the details together
FUJIFILM announces a strategic partnership with the World Press Photo Foundation, an independent, non-profit organization based in the Netherlands, which provides a global platform for photojournalists and documentary photographers to communicate trustworthy stories that reflect the times, through the power of photography, to audiences around the world. As part of this partnership, Fujifilm is proud to sponsor competitions and exhibitions organized by the World Press Photo Foundation.
It will award the global winners of the four Contest categories the GFX100 II mirrorless digital camera, as well as two GF interchangeable lenses for the GFX series. Additionally, Fujifilm plans to host workshops in 10 cities, around the world, in conjunction with the World Press Photo exhibition.

“We are very pleased to announce this partnership with Fujifilm who shares our mission to support the photography community that brings important stories and images to the world,” says Joumana El Zein Khoury, Executive Director of the World Press Photo Foundation. “This collaboration will help us reach more people, improve our exhibitions and directly support the news and documentary photography community.”
Fujifilm has consistently contributed to the development of photographic culture offering its valuable products and services, including the INSTAX range of instant cameras and smartphone printers, the X and GFX Series of mirrorless digital cameras and photographic film. In the field of photojournalism, Fujifilm’s mirrorless digital cameras have been widely praised by professionals around the world, including some of the previous winners of World Press Photo competitions.
Since its founding in 1955 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, the World Press Photo Foundation has organized every year his World Press Photo Contest. The winning works are selected by an international jury and exhibited at World Press Photo exhibitions held around the world. The World Press Photo Exhibition is one of the largest photography exhibitions in the world and attracts millions of visitors every year.
