They released the trailer for Prophecy of Evil online, the new horror film focused on tarot cards that come to life: there is also an MCU star from the Spider-Man films
Sony has published the trailer of the film on its YouTube channel The prophecy of evil, a new horror film that will show the disturbing characters featured on tarot cards come to life. The cast of the film also includes Jacob Batalon, a young actor who became famous for playing Ned Leeds in the Spider-Man films (which according to one theory, should reappear in Spider-Man 4 in the role of Hobgoblin).

In the film we will see a group of friends who break a sacred rule in Tarot reading: Never use someone else’s cards. When they use these cards, they unknowingly release a great evil force that was imprisoned in the cursed cards. One by one, the protagonists will have to face a challenge that will put their lives at risk, to fight death and escape the future predicted by tarot cards. If anyone saw Talk to Methe film by A24 acclaimed by critics and audiences which was released in Italy last year, you will notice some similarities.
In fact, The Prophecy of Evil starts with a similar premise, that is, unaware teenagers playing with a metaphysical evil that is unleashed on them, only instead of an embalmed hand there are tarot cards. In the cast we find Harriet Slater, Adain Bradley, Avantika e Jacob Battle. At the direction of the film we find Spenser Cohenwho will also be the screenwriter of the film together with Anna Halberg. The prophecy of evil will only be released in cinemas from 9 maggio and is produced by Sony Pictures and distributed by Eagle Pictures.
