Ubisoft’s long-term promise: the release of Codename Red, the mysterious next Assassin’s Creed, by the end of March 2025
As part of a quarterly financial report, Ubisoft confirmed that Assassin’s Creed: Codename Redtitle not yet final, will be released within the fiscal year 2025. We are therefore talking about of March next year. The company also confirmed that Star Wars: Outlaws will arrive before the current one ends. The co-founder and CEO of the company, Yves Guillemotstated that “[proseguendo] We have a very promising line-up for the next fiscal year, including the release of Star Wars: Outlaws in 2024, which will be a pivotal point for the gaming industry, especially with the undeniable appeal of this legendary franchise about to enter the open world territory.”

“That’s all great, Ubisoft, but what about Assassin’s Creed: Codename Red in 2025?”
Continuing, Ubisoft’s Guillemot immediately added “as well as Assassin’s Creed: Codename Red, in the long-awaited setting of feudal Japan” which will make its debut by March 2025. “We can’t wait to fully reveal the creative capabilities of our teams as we work hard to make the games live up to players’ expectations.” The publisher announced the long-awaited title in September 2022, coinciding with the roadmap for the series. The episode will be developed by division of Quebec, under the same creative director as Odyssey in the so-called “third period” of the saga. “We will announce the dates later, but I promise a move to the next gen, or current-gen as we should call it,” he said at the time Marc-Alexis Cote. “We want to move to a dynamic world, which evolves together with the player,” promised the boatswain of the series, in addition to the “expansions” already planned per Red.
