John Travolta plays Edna, Tracy’s mother, in this film. The actor’s change in this musical is truly incredible, but it demonstrates, once again, John Travolta’s skill in interpreting any type of character proposed to him.

It is a film directed by Oliver Stone that combines drama with crime and thriller, a modern western like cars instead of horses. For John Travolta it was an original screenplay that allowed him to stage things that really happen everywhere. In this film there is a reference to a different, older and livelier style of cinema that creates a balance between the dark story and the colorful images.
