Octopus Energy announces the introduction of the bulletin payPA for the payment of electricity bills. This national electronic payments system promises to bring transparency and security to transactions with the Public Administration, both online and offline.
Octopus Energy announces integration with pagoPA
From today, Octopus Energy customers will be able to opt for a variety of payment options offered by payPA. Whether it is a transaction at a bank, at a post office, or online, the choice is in the hands of the customer. This initiative reflects Octopus Energy’s commitment to making renewable energy affordable for everyone.
An interesting aspect of pagoPA is the possibility to choose between different payment channels, with clearly visible commission costs. This flexibility offers customers a greater transparency on the costs associated with each transaction. Furthermore, the automatic updating of the amount on the system guarantees the certainty of the debt owed, avoiding surprises or calculation errors.
Giorgio Tomassetti, CEO of Octopus Energy in Italy, explains the choice to introduce this new payment method: “Every day millions of Italians do not have access to green energy at affordable prices only because most suppliers who offer it limit these tariffs to customers’ more technological’, according to their definition. Because of this, Octopus Energy aims to use technology to benefit people, making green energy accessible and affordable. PagoPA is in fact the answer that fits perfectly with our vision, as it combines an accessible solution, such as the postal slip, with a very advanced technological system that makes this method much more reliable and functional than the old postal slip”.
The bulletin payPA, already used by a large number of public bodies and service providers, offers consumers a more economical, efficient and digital payment experience. More information on the Octopus Energy website.
