As expected, the American company also embraces the electric motor with the first electric 2024 Dodge Charger. The new car will be available in both two-door and four-door versions

We have arrived at what has been announced as theeighth generation Dodge Charger. With this new car, the American company has in turn decided to embrace the electric motor. What they announced is in fact what they defined the first electric muscle car. The American team decided to abandon the V8 engine to completely make room for electric motors. This is another company that, again to support the environment and ecology, has decided to embrace the world of the electric motor, as Porsche is also doing with its new Porsche Macan. This new Dodge Charger however has a mix of many things, not just performance.

This is the fastest muscle car ever produced. This new electric car is offered in two versions. There is the one that delivers up to 670 CVcapable of reaching i 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds, which justifies its title as the fastest and most powerful muscle car in the world. Alternatively there is the R/T version, more contained, which delivers up to 496 HP. These are the company’s first electric models and the first to debut on the STLA Large platform. Both have a four-wheel drive and with function Powershot they can have 40 HP more for about 15 seconds when the function is activated. However, only the versions with electric motor will not be available, in fact they will also produce those with the internal combustion enginenamely the 550 HP Charger SIXPACK HO and the 420 HP Charger SIXPACK SO, both with 3.0L Hurricane Twin Turbo L-6 engine.
