Aston Martin puts the new Vantage safety car on track for the 2024 F1 season. He will lead the way for the 20 single-seaters on the formation lap in the Saudi Arabian GP
The car manufacturer Aston Martin shows the new safety car of Formula 1. The model is called “Vantage” and (if necessary) we will see her already during this weekend in Jeddah. The car features renewed and enhanced aerodynamics under the floor. Among the innovations brought by Aston Martin we find a new rear wing, an elongated front splitter and above all the new FIA bar more aerodynamics on the roof. Inside, however, the cockpit features improved seats capable of offering maximum safety to the expert Bernd Maylander and his passenger.
In the central part, however, we have switches for operating the FIA systems inside a very refined and renovated console. What drives this sports car is the engine 4.0 Twint-Turbo V8 and 665CV owned by Aston Martin, upgraded 30% compared to last year. On the sidelines of the car presentation event, Aston Martin’s global chief brand and commercial officer spoke Marco Mattiacci who expressed himself thus on the new safety car: “The Vantage represents the Aston Martin brand. Seeing her so fast and that she will have to play a very important role in the 2024 Formula 1 world championship is certainly a great source of pride for us.”

The new Aston Martin Vantage which will be the new Safety Car in F1 contains all the essence of the English car manufacturer. The car is represented in its internal guise by color Lime Essence, hinting at the brand’s racing colours.

The new version of the Vantage is faster than its predecessors. The first sensations are very positive especially in terms of handling and obviously power. It has everything you need to be always and immediately ready to get on the track in case of need. I really enjoyed the latest Vantages and I’m really excited to be one of the first to drive this car on the biggest circuits in the world.
