Porsche presents its new electric supercar, the Taycan Turbo GT. Over 1000 horsepower that animate the German sedan
When it comes to Porsche Taycan Turbo GT we are referring to a real lightning bolt. It has already been renamed as the production Porsche most powerful ever produced. Thanks to his 1.108 CV e 1.340 Nm of torque, managed to set two new records for the electric category on two notable tracks. The new Taycan Turbo GT completed a lap in 1:27,28 on the track of Laguna Seca in California and another tour in 7:07,55 on the circuit of Nürburgring(about 26 seconds faster than the Taycan Turbo S).
But let’s take a look at this new supercar. Let’s start from the outside, thanks to a carbon fiber covering the weight of the Turbo GT drops by 75 kg compared to the Taycan Turbo S, thus reaching the 2.230 kg. We find more optimized aerodynamics thanks to a front spoiler with aerodynamic fins and an adaptive one at the rear. We then have the LED headlights adorned with in the standard package Matrix technology. Inside, however, we find a racing-style cockpit, with carbon fiber seats embroidered with the Turbo GT logo. Also particular is the steering wheel rim covered with Race-tex technology as reported by the German company.
New Porsche Taycan Turbo GT: the numbers are impressive
The new Porsche Taycan Turbo GT is a concentration of power ready to hurtle across the asphalt. The car is available, as well as in the “standard” version, also in the variant Weissachquest’ultima designed specifically for track performance. If we refer to the latter we are in fact talking about 1.108 CV e 815 kW. Result? It means to go to 0 a 100 km/h in 2,2″ e da 0 a 200 in 6,4″with a maximum speed of 305 km/h as stated by Porsche. The batteries should allow a declared autonomy of 555 km. Prices for the standard Taycan Turbo GT and the Weissach package version in Italy start at 249.188 euro.
