The Horner case is continuing to be discussed throughout the Formula 1 world, which is now divided into pro and anti Horner groups. Albers, who instead supported the work of Helmut Marko, was also opposed to the anti-Horner appeal
If you still think about the Horner case, people are in favor of the team principal there are very few. The former British driver is now mainly facing the Verstappen family and, among other things, we also discovered that he intends to get Adrian Newey out of the way. These moves by the Red Bull leader are pitting him against practically the entire world of Formula 1, although there is always the Thai team who supports him and protects him from any attempt to relieve him of his position in the Toro Rosso team. But now there is another opponent that Horner has to face, someone who has nothing to do with the Red Bull team, but who still wanted to have his say about it. In fact, Christijan Albers, a former Dutch driver, also went against Horner.
Albers against Horner: rooting for Helmut Marko
Just recently, the Dutch sports director and former driver was interviewed regarding the Horner case. In short words, Albers supports the work done by Helmut Markounderlining, on the contrary, that Christian Horner never recognized the talent of those who became their strongest riders and several times champions, like the young Max Verstappen, but also of Vettel. He further added that the Horner case is not over yet and that other things will come out, because the team principal is screwing up an entire team that now no longer has faith in him. Precisely this abuse of power and desire to cut off everyone’s heads is leading the team to divide.
