The underworld gets a little smarter: the Netflix port of the highly acclaimed indie roguelike Hades is now available for iOS devices
It would be easy to think that this year the only meeting between smart devices (iOS specifically) and the Greek myths would have been Fortnite, but in reality we often forget that it is available from today the mobile version of Hades by Netflix. The development team celebrated the release of the game on mobile with the launch trailer which you can see below. The gestation of the port occurred in the metaphorical placenta of Secret6and this new incarnation of Zagreus’ infernal misadventures will be enjoyable on Apple operating system versions starting from the sixteenth. The game will be available as long as players are signed up to the streaming service’s basic subscription. We leave you at presentation video.

Of course, as far as Supergiant Games things certainly don’t stop with the iOS port: it will take some time before it is available, but the priority of the talented developers at the moment is Hades 2. The sequel is targeting an early access phase in the second quarter of this year, starting from Steam ed Epic Games Store on the PC front. The second chapter in what has the potential to be a saga will receive updates taking inspiration from player feedback, while increasing the content. The latter already promise from the early access phase to be at least on par with their predecessor. You don’t earn entry into the gaming pantheon without effort, after all!
