March has ended, the month of the Oscars (all the winners here!) and all the annual awards ceremonies you can think of, and we are heading towards a year decidedly full of releases, in many entertainment media. Before looking too much into the future, however, let's stop for a second in April to find out what our Eagle Pictures offers us in Home Video. Few releases, but definitely interesting. Starting April 10, David Ayer's “The Beekeeper” will be available on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K. This addictive revenge movie stars Jason Statham and Jeremy Irons, directed by the director of “Fury” and “Suicide Squad”. The film chronicles the ruthless revenge of a man whose dark history as a member of a powerful secret organization, the “Beekeepers,” transforms him into a national threat.
Poor Creatures! | Eagle Pictures: Home Video releases for April 2024!
From April 18th, we will be able to enjoy “Poor Creatures!” by Yorgos Lanthimos, on DVD and Blu-ray. With an all-star cast including Emma Stone, Mark Ruffalo, Willem Dafoe and Ramy Youssef, this masterpiece tells the extraordinary story of Bella Baxter, brought back to life by Dr. Godwin Baxter and eager for emancipation. Everyone except you | Eagle Pictures: Home Video releases for April 2024!
Also from April 18th, “Everyone But You” by Will Gluck will arrive, one romantic comedy with Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell, who make the perfect couple until an unexpected first date. They decide to pretend to be a couple at a wedding in Australia, each with a different reason.
One Life | Eagle Pictures: Home Video releases for April 2024!
Finally, on April 24, “One Life” by James Hawes will be available on DVD and Blu-Ray. With Anthony Hopkins come protagonistathe film tells the true story of Sir Nicholas “Nicky” Winton, who saved 669 refugee children before the Second World War, and his reconciliation with the past thanks to a BBC television program.
