Dragon's Dogma 2 requires too much CPU in certain situations
According to Capcom, it seems that the performance problems on PC are caused by excessive CPU usage. This problem becomes quite serious when there are numerous characters on screen, causing annoying drops in FPS.
In Dragon's Dogma 2, calculating the impact of characters on the game world requires a large amount of CPU. In cases where there are a lot of characters on the screen, CPU consumption is very high and risks influencing the frame rate. This is one official statement from Capcom who proved to be well aware of the game's problems. In this case, PC players have nothing left to do but hope that the development team can solve this annoying problem as quickly as possible.
