Despite the great earthquake that occurred in Taiwan a few days ago, the evidence they are still holding on, with the date of the race which has remained unchanged and will take place anyway. In recent days, during testing for the Suzuka GP, Ferrari and Red Bull have recorded some very interesting data. A curious thing that happened is that the Canadian driver of the Aston Martin team, Lance Stroll, received a fine for speeding. It seems like a joke, an April Fool's joke, but that's what really happened. A great discovery, even Formula 1 drivers can incur fines during races on these tracks! But now let's get back to the focus topic: data from Ferrari and Red Bull at the Suzuka GP tests.

We open the dance with the 1-2 of Red Bull, with Max Verstappen ahead of Perez. Ferrari is hot on his heels, with Carlos Sainz separating himself from the two Toro Rosso drivers alone 2 tenths and practically on par on the technical side. Afterwards there were some very short simulations on race pace, with excellent feedback from Ferrari, both on soft and hard compound rubber. It must be said though Suzuka has the highest sensitivity of lap time to fuel on board, so it would be practically useless to make predictions about possible winners. What is certain is that Ferrari and Red Bull are fierce and they don't worry in the slightest about using a set of tires already on Friday, then saving everything for Sunday.
As we said, it is useless to make predictions, but certainly Ferrari and Red Bull will be the protagonists of the race, both aware of the difficulty of the track and therefore very prepared to face it, with Red Bull wanting to do better than what it did at the Melbourne GP.
