There are so many F1 fans around our planet and there are many who want a GP in their own city. Just a few weeks ago there was talk of the fact that there could be two GPs in Spain in 2026, both for Madrid and for Barcelona. The mayor of is now also applying for a GP Incheonor Yoo Jeong-bok, who had a meeting with the president of F1 Francesco Dominicani. The two talked about the possibility of including Incheon, the city south of Seoul, in South Koreain the Formula 1 calendar.
Formula 1 also in South Korea, with the GP in Incheon
This would not be the first time that drivers, team principals and teams have entered South Korean territory, but it would indeed be the first time the drivers compete in Incheon. This would represent a new stage never visited before by those who work in the world of first-class motorsports, but it seems that things are more than plausible, given that at the meeting between the mayor of Incheon and Francesco Dominicani there was also Kang Na-yeonpresident of Taehwa Holdings e Korean partner of F1. The contract, however, would provide for the stage to enter the calendar no earlier than 2026 or 2027, but adding two GP races in Spain to the calendar.
