Huawei presents the new smartband Band 9, a lightweight and affordable device for monitoring health, and the range of smartphones Nova 12, for quality selfies in the mid-range. Two ranges of devices which, on paper, appear very interesting.
Huawei announces Nova 12 and Band 9: features and price
The Huawei nova 12 series introduces three new devices: nova 12s and nova 12 SEwhich reflect the iconic Star Orbit Ring design of previous models, and new 12i introduces the Super Star Orbit Ring. All three pay great attention to the classrooms front cameras. In particular, the nova 12s model integrates a 60 MP ultra-wide angle selfie camera, with a viewing angle of 100°, ideal for taking group selfies. The 50MP Ultra Vision main camera and 8MP Ultra-Wide Macro camera close the package.
The nova 12 series also introduces the operating system EMUI 14, with several new features such as the Live View function for real-time notifications and Lock Screen Themes to customize the wallpaper. The function SuperHub simplifies data sharing between devices, allowing you to transfer data with a single touch.

The new Band 9 from Huawei stands out for its slim and lightweight design, weighing just 14 grams and a thickness of 8.99 mm. Despite its compact size, it integrates a 9-axis motion sensor, updated PPG optical modules and an improved ambient light sensor. The 1.47 inch AMOLED screen it offers a resolution of 194 x 368 pixels and a screen-to-body ratio of 65%, ensuring a clear and quality display.
Among the features dedicated to well-being, it stands out HUAWEI TruSleep 4.0 for advanced sleep monitoring, which can also detect interruptions in breathing during the night. Technology HUAWEI TruSeen 5.5, combined with a high-performance PPG sensor, it allows you to monitor parameters such as heart rate, blood oxygen, stress, menstrual cycle and arrhythmia.
The long lasting battery allows prolonged use, with an autonomy of up to 14 days and support for fast charging. There is no shortage of smart functions such as music control, notifications, quick replies to messages. And also the ability to share health data with friends and family via the HUAWEI Health app.
