A Demo Derby-style game mode comes to Grid Legends

Arrive today Classic Car-Nage, a DLC that brings a devastating and chaotic new game mode to Grid Legends, inspired by Demo Derby. It will therefore be necessary to ram your opponents, to make them clash and thus have the go-ahead. The DLC then rewrites the rules of the game and more: in fact, new stories arrive, a patch and a new racing vehicle: Team Fordzilla – P1.

“Classic Car-Nage brings the cathartic and fascinating destructive experience of the demolition derby to the GRID Legends universe,” said Steven Brand, Associate Creative Director di Codemasters. “The new paths with intersections and multiple ramps ensure plenty of opportunities to pile up, while the objectives of the story mode allow players to work out their own strategies to survive events. I can’t wait to join the people online to cause some chaos! ”.

How the new Demo Derby inspired Grid Legends game mode will work

The new game mode features a series of events that will allow players to push Grid’s rules to the limit. A no holds barred experience, divided into several episodes. The first is focused on Valentin Manziplayed by the British actor Dear Gatwa.

Players will also have access to five new vehicles (including an irresistible ice cream truck) e four new routes in two locations (the prestigious Yokahama docks and the intense heat of Havana). The new expansion also introduces three new sponsored career events.

Also comes the new Ford TFZ-P1

Thanks to the collaboration with Team Fordzilla, Ford’s first esports team, the new one also arrives in-game TFZ-P1. The vehicle can be used free of charge in the title, and until July 29, players will be able to use it to compete in a new in-game event to get the fastest lap.

“After months of collaborating with players around the world, we are thrilled to see our TFZ-P1 debut in the popular and addicting GRID Legends game. We want people to experience the thrill of driving a Ford wherever they are and on whatever platform they play. I hope gamers all over the world enjoy our new racing car, and for racing fans attending Goodwood, they will even be able to drive it in the game sitting in the actual car! ”He said.
