Thanks to the new generation of consoles, this enhanced version of the game features many improvements including 60 FPS, audio optimizations, improved graphics up to resolution 4K UHD and faster loading times. A Plague Tale: Requiem, the sequel to A Plague Tale: Innocence, will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S, PC and in cloud version for Nintendo Switch in 2022.
We also remind you, that last summer Asobo Studio presented A Plague Tale: Requiem, a sequel coming to PC, PS5, Xbox Series X | S and Nintendo Switch (via cloud) in 2022. The sequel should set a few years after the events of the first game, with the protagonists a little more mature and, probably, with several new gameplay mechanics at our disposal.
Here is the official synopsis of the game’s history:
“1349. The plague is ravaging the kingdom of France. The Inquisition pursues two brothers through villages infested with the deadly disease. Amicia and little Hugo, during their journey, will have to join forces with those of other boys to escape the waves of rats, using only fire and light as the only tools of protection. United by a terrible fate, they will have to face indescribable horrors and survive at any cost. Where their adventure begins… the age of innocence ends ”.
