The release date of A Plague Tale: Requiem, sequel to A Plague Tale: Innocence, may have been revealed by an alleged leak. According to Twitter user Okami13, on the Xbox store there would be a suspicious date indicating the release of the title for the June 17, 2021. Even if the year is obviously wrong, the date of June 17th could be an important clue indicating the actual date the game will arrive. On the other hand, it is not the first time that the Xbox Store anticipates the launch date of a game ahead of time.

Neither Asobo Studiodevelopers of the game, and nP Focus Entertainmente, publisher, have confirmed for the moment the release date of A Plague Tale: Requiembut already in the past they had confirmed that they would release it in 2022. A further clue also confirms a close launch date: two days ago, in fact, a leak was released with the achievement list of the game, and normally this is not loaded until close to the release of a title.

A Plague Tale: Requiem was unveiled during the Microsoft at E3 2021, although the title was then also announced for PS5 by Focus Entertainment. The title, however, should have an agreement with Microsoft so that it can arrive directly in theXbox Game Pass since its launch date, although it’s still not completely 100% certain. The new title is a sequel to A Plague Tale: Innocence adventure game released in 2019 that managed to collect some success thanks to a good setting and narrative.
